At Terry's Rugs, we are passionate specialists in the cleaning and repair of Persian and Oriental rugs, some of which have over 35 years of experience in Montreal since 1982. After serving countless homes and offices in the Ottawa-Gatineau region since January 2001, we have noticed that most rugs required additional cleaning and minor repairs due to the lack of an adequate underpad.
It is interesting to note that consumers are not at fault if they do not have the right underpads!
Many local rug stores offer mesh pads as quality underlay, but here is the truth: mesh pads are too thin to absorb anything, and they offer little or no protection. Rugs wear 30% faster with mesh pads. They only prevent rugs from sliding, and they tend to wrinkle and stick to the floor.
Without adequate padding, your precious rugs will not last as long and you will spend more time and money on repairs. All mesh or net pads available on the market do not offer the total protection your rugs and your wood floors need.

- 3 Place the pieces side by side in the length direction aligning the arrows
- 4 Cut the pad with ordinary scissors if necessary, leaving it about 1.5 cm shorter all around

Storage note
Before storing your underpad, ensure it is vacuumed and always roll the black side inwards and never fold it
