Hello, my name is Terry. I have been working in the rug industry since 1982. My passion for rugs developed from my first steps in this fascinating trade. Over the years, I have had the opportunity to work with talented artisans and learn the secrets of this ancient craft.
Over the years, I have gained valuable experience with renowned rug merchants in Montreal and Ottawa and learned to distinguish the characteristics of many rug patterns, weaving, finishes, and dyes, passing this knowledge on to my staff and clients. As a family business, we have been present in Ottawa since 2001. Offering a wide selection of rugs, we are also experts in services such as cleaning (hand washing) and repairing all old and modern rugs.

My name is Derek, and I’ve been part of the family business since 2021. From an early age, I was impressed by the passion and craftsmanship of my uncle Terry, who built strong, trusting relationships with his clients through his expertise and dedication. Working alongside him felt like a natural choice. I wanted to learn this noble and demanding trade from someone who truly understands its every detail.
My interest in this industry comes from a genuine appreciation for quality work, attention to detail, and the meaningful human connections we create with each client. Rugs are more than just decorative items, they tell a story, reflect a lifestyle, and bring warmth and character to a space. I take pride in helping our clients choose the perfect rug or maintain a piece they truly care about.
Today, I’m proud to be fully involved in the business, with a sincere desire to carry on our family tradition while bringing a fresh, modern touch. My goal is to help the company grow and evolve, while staying true to the values of authenticity and quality that define who we are.
